Grr

A friend of mine rang me at work today, saying she was in town and wanted a group of us to meet up for dinner. A time and place was arranged, though I mentioned I'd be late as I had some chores to run after work. I dashed through my tasks ands arrived at just gone 6:30 but no-one else was there, nor was there any reservation. Hmm. I'm not sure if got the wrong place and time (unlikely as its where we usually meet up, though I guess I might have got teh time wrong though that doesn't gel with the lack of any reservations) or there was a last-mimnute change of venue that I wasn't told of (though I checked both home and work voicemails and my mobile). Of course, sods law dictates I don't have my friends phone number and don't know who else was to attend so I can't chase them down. As the saying goes, bugger!
